Simply Bloom Photography

My husband and I, knowing that photography was of huge importance to us, raked through over 300 photographers before we finally found Simply Bloom in an article in Southern Weddings. Many high end photography studios charge a great deal for photography that doesn't reflect a certain attention to detail, to emotion, to subtly. With Simply Bloom, however, you really get a high level of quality and beauty for the price. From the time we drew up the contract to the months after our wedding, Simply Bloom Photography has surpassed all of our expectations. Christine and Vania, German and Italian respectively, bring their traveled experiences to the eyes of their lens. In particular, their attention to light, and its ability to illuminate its subjects from within, create a dreamy style of photography that my husband and I are excited to share with our families for years. As a stressed bride, with a million decisions, Christine and Vania made our process with them straight forward, yet warm and very positive. They really helped us capture our wedding in Sarasota even though it rained briefly making things interesting :) They're both really wonderful women who, on your wedding day, help make it more special by taking a way a layer of stress. Plus, they're awesome people :)

The one tangible thing my husband and I knew we would have after our big day was pictures. We both had a specific vision in mind and after months of attempting to find the perfect local vendor, we decided to broaden our scope. I looked back at the inspiration photos I had saved from my favorite wedding blogs and found that I was really drawn to the Simply Bloom aesthetic. So I sent off my inquiry and crossed my fingers. A few days later we got a response back and luckily they were free! We communicated a lot through e-mail and Vania was great with answering the endless number of questions I had. Everything happened so quickly on the wedding day that it took me a little while to realize that our photographer Vania brought along someone else rather than Christine. Since they were the only two photographer ever mentioned on their blogs I was a little surprised at first but it all ended up working out great. The other photographer was their new associate photographer, Amanda. She was very warm and friendly. Pre-weddng I was afraid I wouldn't know how to pose for photos but Vania was fantastic with telling us how to stand and what to do and giving us directions for slight adjustments. Vania and Amanda were very easy to work with and we both felt really comfortable with them. We LOVED our photos. The pictures felt right in line with all of their blog photos I had saved for inspiration. We have a handful of favorites taken by Vania and a handful by Amanda. They really embodied the joy we felt on the big day and we're overjoyed that we hired the Simply Bloom team to capture all of it. You won't be dissapointed if you hire these very talented ladies!

I cannot give enough platitudes for Simply Bloom. They were a dream to work with, absolute professionals, and so much fun that it felt like I had invited 2 more of my friends to join in my destination wedding. My initial contact with them was through email (it's the easiest way to get ahold of them), and by a stroke of luck they had my wedding weekend off! Their prices were the best for any destination photographers I had found, and also, the way their pictures come out look completely different from most of the wedding photographers out there -- I chose them based on their prior work that I found online on wedding blogs. The photos are timeless and yet whimsical, and the combination is pulled off effortlessly. I highly recommend Christine and Vania to be your wedding photographers -- especially if you need a destination shoot. Their work is spectacular, and I can't stop looking at my wedding photos because I love them so much. --- As an aside, I have a friend who also recently got married, and she had her photos taken by someone else. She dislikes her photos so much that she says she can't bear to look at her professional photos and only has the candid shots her friends and family took at the wedding -- I went into my wedding planning with this story in mind, and I have to say, that's why I'm so pleased I found Simply Bloom -- their photos will mean an indescribable amount to me forever, and I LOVE every photo they took. And this is why I recommend Simply Bloom -- because you want to walk away from your wedding with photos you will treasure forever, like me.

I was really not happy with a lot of my wedding photos. There were a select few that I really loved, but the rest lowered my self confidence quite a bit. I do not think that the few I loved were worth the thousands I spent for their service. Also, their agreement says it will take a certain number of weeks for you to get your pictures back. That turned into several months for ours while our families constantly asked what was taking so long. I also hate the fact that you can't opt out of being on their blog. A lot of the photos I wasn't fond of were put on there for my judgmental mother-in-law to have a field day with. I couldn't just share the ones I loved. Overall they were definitely not worth the money despite the few really great photos I got out of it, and I wish we would have chosen a different photographer.

These two ladies are absolutely the BEST and their work goes untouched.

I love the Simply Bloom "look", and while I got that in a few of my photos, most of mine had some lighting issues and needed some editing after I was given my gallery. The photographer was wonderful to work with, very professional and calm during the wedding and reception. I had an issue with one of the prints I ordered, and they fixed the problem without extra cost. Overall, I guess I am pleased with their services, but not as much as I thought I would be.

We enjoyed working with Simply Bloom. They were professional and did an excellent job capturing our wedding memories. There were even some photo's that captured moments that we had overlooked. I would recommend their services!

Simply Bloom are absolutely the best wedding photographers in North Alabama, perhaps all of the southeast. They are a bit pricey, but for us they were absolutely worth it. They have a unique style which fit our wedding perfectly. They are also incredibly sweet and easy to work with. If you are worried about being a bit shy in front of the camera, these ladies are for you! They took the time to learn about us and made us comfortable and made sure that our personalities were reflected in our photos. The only reason they don't get a 100% positive rating is the price. They can be cost-prohibitive for some; we had to cut back in some other areas to be able to afford them, but it is a decision I know I will never regret! After other the things from the wedding has faded away, the photos will remain, and I am glad we went with the best!

They take beautiful pictures and are very talented. I loved all my wedding, bridal, and engagement pictures. They will all last a lifetime!!

The artistry of the photos was undeniable, and the options for albums, prints, and storyboards are fantastic. There was a very positive working atmosphere during all shoots. Emails were generally responded to quickly, but not always, perhaps due to hectic travel schedules. There was some wrangling over prices being "locked in" that ended up costing us a not-insubstantial amount of money, but in the end the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work you get. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a very unique style of photography at their wedding.

Vania & Christine are not only amazing artists, but truly amazing people. I couldn't come up with a single complaint, our pictures are breathtaking. They truly captured the Modern/vintage feel that is their trademark. They are super responsive to questions and emails and really go out of their way to make you feel special even though they have countless other weddings going on at the same time.

Vania from Simply Bloom photographed our wedding this Spring and we were speechless when we saw the photographs. They were absolutely stunning! I said one of the best decisions we could have made was to hire Simply Bloom to capture our day. Most of our friends said they didn't even remember seeing our photographer as she was sneaking around taking beautiful candid shots. Our wedding photo experience with Simply Bloom Photography was exceptional. Christine & Vania were incredibly professional and extremely creative. Simply Bloom Photography is SIMPLY AMAZING!! These two girls are incredibly talented and SO easy to work with! Simply Bloom was a joy to work with for my wedding day! I am very picky about photography and as soon as I saw their website, I knew I had to have them.
