G's Gourmet Catering

I hate to give bad reviews, especially when I really like the person; however, I feel sometimes it's better to get constructive criticism so they can learn from there mistakes and improve their services for future customers. First, Garien is extremely nice and easy to get along with. His food is great and he had good ideas to help me put together a nice menu for my wedding.Unfortunately, I was not impressed with his service or attention to detail. I'm not sure of everything that went on behind the scenes because I was enjoying my big day; but the things I did notice were things that we went over several times in all our meetings that still did not get done. I felt that I had to keep telling G what we wanted to do and they still didn't happen at the wedding. The display of the food was not what we discussed. My potato bar was supposed to be served in martini glasses, which did not happen. My signature drink was supposed to be butler passed and instead they had a conatiner at the bar where some of my guest were having to pour their own drinks. They forgot napkins, which luckily I had ordered some to be served with the milk and cookies at the end of the night...instead they had to use them with the food because they had none and the cookies were handed out on trays. They ended up serving drinks in plastic cups when they still had racks of clean glasses available to use. I also felt like the food was put up rather quickly and by the time my mother was ready to eat, the food was already put away. It was also very hard for me to get him to respond to things throughout the planning process and a couple things I was waiting on answers from him on, I didn't get the answer until the week of the wedding. Again, G is a great guy and hopefully he will learn from this and know that as a caterer he needs to pay more attention to the details, and also do what he is requested to do for his paying customers.

My cake was beautiful. Senola is truly an artist. I received so many compliments. And it tasted just as good as it looked. I will never settle for a store bought birthday cake again. I would recommend her to any and everyone. and the cost was very reasonable.
